UCI offers mobile Internet access via Wi-Fi across many locations on campus. UCInet Mobile Access provides UCI affiliates and visitors a fast and convenient way to connect to the web with mobile computers and devices.

- Inactive Devices Removed After One Year – OIT will automatically remove any computer or device registered for UCInet Mobile Access that has not been seen on UCI's network for more than one year. This includes both wired and wireless devices. Should a computer or device return to the campus after it has been removed from the database, the computer or device may be re-registered through the normal registration process.
- Usage Logs – Using the UCI campus WiFi network generates logs about your device connecting to the WiFi infrastructure. OIT uses such data for operational and security purposes. OIT may further anonymize and share such data with research teams building campus level smart services. If you have concerns, questions, or do not want your anonymous data to be shared, do not register your device and contact the OIT Help Desk (949-824-2222 or oit@uci.edu).
